Last week, as you might have seen, Maxime and I spent the weekend in London. It was short and sweet and extactly what we needed to kick back this January blues.
I am not one who likes to dress very fancy when they are on holiday. I try to think about what I will be doing during the day/night and from that, I start the “smart packing process”. It consists in creating different outfits, fitting different needs, with the same pieces. It can be quite challenging at first, but it saves so much time and space. trust me, it’s worth giving it a try next time you pack your suit case.
Friday – Dressed Up
Dress – See by Chloe (old)
Belt – stolen from Maxime
Saturday – Out And About
Saturday was pretty busy ! We had loads of things to do, places to see and people to meet. I put together an old black outfit wearing all the greatest basics: skinny jeans, turtle neck and mocassins. I threw over my lovely green versatile coat for a pop of color and added a leopard cross body bag for a fun twist and I think it worked pretty well !
Sunday – Layed Back
Here comes Sunday, our last day. We spent it walking around Hyde Park, as we love to do on a Sunday, before having a nice roast from the pub. For that, jeans and sneakers are my uniform ! I wore the same coat, jumper and bag from Friday and added a touch of color with a silk scarf. Easy.
And you, what kind of packer are you: light or more like Mary Poppins?
